ScandiFlames Electric Yosemite Wall-mounted Water Vapour Fireplace - White
Brekke is a wall-mounted water vapour fireplace from ScandiFlames Electric that provides a fireplace atmosphere without fire and heat. The front of the fireplace is covered by a large glass panel, beautifully encapsulating the flame effect.
Instead of real flames, the flame effects are created using ultrasonic vibrations and LED lights, together producing a unique fireplace atmosphere.
Dimplex Cassette 400/600
The heart of the fireplace is a Dimplex Cassette 400/600, developed by Dimplex. The cassette has a capacity of 1.2 liters of water and can burn for up to 8 hours on a single fill. When the fireplace needs refilling, it is simply done with regular tap water.
The water vapour inside the cassette is created with the help of a transducer. A transducer lasts about 6-12 months, depending on usage, after which it needs to be replaced. A new original transducer costs around £30-£40.
Installation
The fireplace is easily and quickly mounted on the wall using a few screws. It can be installed on all types of walls, as long as the wall can support the weight of the fireplace.
Additionally, the fireplace only needs to be connected to a standard 230V power outlet.
