Dimplex Cassette 1000 Multicolor Hybrid Fire Insert

Here, you get an Opti-Myst fire insert that is 100 cm wide. The fire insert is specially designed for do-it-yourself projects where you want to build your own Opti-Myst water vapor fireplace.

The Opti-Myst technology is developed by Dimplex and is a technology that creates a 3-dimensional flame effect using water vapor and LED lights. This provides a completely unique flame effect, and the fireplaces are often referred to as Opti-Myst fireplaces, Hybrid fireplaces, or water vapor fireplaces.

Dimplex Cassette 1000 consists of a fire insert that is 100 cm wide and comes with a standard black metal top plate. However, a set of decorative wood can be purchased, which can be placed on top of the insert.

Hybrid fireplaces like Dimplex Cassette 1000 can be installed and used in many different places, as they do not require a chimney. They only need to be connected to electricity. Dimplex Cassette 1000 has no heating effect and can therefore be perfect for new builds and newer houses where you do not need extra heat from the fire, but just want the coziness of the flames.

Multi-Colored Flames

This version of Cassette 1000 is equipped with multi-colored LED lights, allowing the flame effects to change color. Flame colors can be adjusted in light blue, dark blue, violet, red, and yellow, or any combination of them all. But only one color at a time.

The flame colors can be adjusted, among other things, with an app on your phone, providing the opportunity to tailor the flame colors to your interior and mood.

Water Connection

This "Projects" version of Dimplex Optimyst Cassette 1000 Multicolor requires a fixed water connection.

The fixed water connection means that Cassette 1000 automatically draws water when the fireplace needs to be refilled. That way, you will never manually have to refill the fireplace with water.

Cleaning

Dimplex Cassette should be cleaned regularly to avoid the accumulation of limescale.

It is also recommended to close the water supply and drain the cassette if it will not be used for an extended period (2 weeks).

Cassette 1000 uses a transducer to create water vapour. They wear out over time and should be replaced after approximately 6-12 months of use.
