Icon Slimline Firebox SFBDS1350 Double-Sided Built-in Bioethanol Fireplace - Steel
The distinguished Icon Slimline Firebox SFBDS1350 in stainless steel is a double-sided built-in bioethanol fireplace that uses the manufacturer's own Slimline 1100 burner, giving up to 9 hours of burn time on one fill. The iconic Slimline Firebox SFBDS1350 offers a stylish, impressive design and easy installation in both new and existing walls, and the flames can be seen from 2 rooms at the same time thanks to the beautiful see-through effect.
How to install a built-in Slimline bioethanol fireplace
A built-in bioethanol fireplace is relatively simple to install. Follow the complete installation guide for this fireplace, which can be found as a PDF file below this product description. It explains the correct procedure step by step.
You do not need a certificate to install this fireplace, and you can find plenty of additional inspiration here in our guides to installing bioethanol fireplaces.
Can a bioethanol fireplace give heat?
The heat from a bioethanol fireplace comes from its heart, the burner. The Slimline 1100 burner built into this fireplace is a stylish and space-saving solution when it comes to bioethanol fireplaces of this type. The burner delivers a heat output of up to 7.7 kW, consumes 0.9 litres of bioethanol per hour and burns for up to 9 hours, depending on how high the flame is set.
A bioethanol fireplace does give off heat, but it should not be relied on alone to heat an entire room. It should first and foremost serve as a supplementary heat source, so for example turn the district heating down a little and let the fireplace provide the last 2-3 degrees in the room while you enjoy the cosiness. The Slimline burner is made of stainless steel, so it matches the frame of the fireplace perfectly.
