The Cocoon Aeris in matte white is the latest version of the iconic ceiling-mounted bioethanol fireplace from Cocoon Fires. With its clean, powder-coated finish and sculptural design, this fireplace brings modern elegance and warmth to any interior space – even when it's not in use.

Designed by acclaimed industrial designer Federico Otero, the Aeris requires no electricity or chimney. It’s easy to install and offers flexible placement in a wide range of indoor environments.

Burner and heat output

The included Cocoon 2.0 manual burner holds 1.5 liters of bioethanol and delivers up to 5 hours of burn time per fill. This corresponds to a fuel consumption of approximately 0.3 liters per hour and a maximum heat output of 3 kW – suitable for rooms of at least 45 m³. The flame can be manually adjusted to suit your desired ambiance.

Installation

Installation is straightforward and can be completed by most users. The ceiling bracket is mounted using four screws. Screws are not included as they should be chosen according to your ceiling material. The ceiling must be able to support the fireplace's total weight of 24 kg.

Once the bracket is in place, the ceiling rods are assembled to achieve the desired hanging length (up to 200 cm), and the fireplace globe is attached using the included connector piece.

Installation screws are not included, as the optimal screws depend on the ceiling material. For secure installation, the ceiling should be able to support the fireplace's weight of 24 kg.

Once the ceiling bracket is in place, screw the ceiling rod into the bracket, and finally, secure the Cocoon Aeris dome to the mounting system.
