ScandiFlames Altar is a free-standing bioethanol fireplace made from cast iron in a traditionally Scandinavian wood stove design.
Altar features a 1.5-litre manually operated bioethanol burner, burning for up to 5 hours per filling and producing about 2.1 kW of heat effect. The burner is adjustable, making it possible to adjust the flame size and thus change the bioethanol usage and heat output.
Practical decorative top for added functionality
The decorative top of the Altar fireplace rises into an elegant peak that can be removed if you prefer a more minimalist look. When the top is removed, the flat plate underneath can be used to warm a teapot or similar items, adding an extra practical feature to the fireplace.
